Brandon Griffith is best known for his Pop style art built using only LEGO bricks.   Drawing heavy influences from pop culture, Brandon takes memorable characters, scenes, and moments from a variety of sources and creates his own imagery.  “I take an element from a film or TV show and construct something that expresses how it feels to me.  Sometimes, it’s as simple as creating a nonexistent portrait of a character, or it allows me to really have fun with something familiar and use the many different shapes of LEGO elements to form a mosaic.”  The final pieces are an invitation to look at the work both as a whole and as a deconstructed use of a beloved childhood toy.
